Communications Committee
Prepare and distribute NMA’s electronic newsletter, manage content on the NMA’s website and social media pages, create promotional material for NMA events, and related. Skills in brand expansion and reach are in demand here, along with experience in public communications as an entity’s voice.

Education Committee
Collaborate with Tread Lightly! and NOHVCC to expand their educational messaging reach to dirt bikers in Washington. Create and or leverage existing educational programs related to trail maintenance or others as directed by the Board. This is all about sharing knowledge within our community to strengthen ourselves in our ability to preserve dirt biking in Washington.

Events Committee
Monthly reporting to the board and membership, planning and executing recreational activities involving the membership, maintaining liability insurance for the NMA, maintaining the events calendar, and more. If you like bringing people together for good times around dirt bikes then this is just the thing for you!

Fundraising Committee
Bringing in cash and other assets that help a non-profit achieve its mission is a critical need for all non-profits. . More dollars and goodies coming into NMA expands our capacity in making public single track trail riding better in Washington.

Legislative/Land Use Committee
Primary responsibilities are reporting monthly to the board and membership on issues affecting motorized single track and representing the NMA at legislative/land use meetings and hearings. A keen eye and ear for the details, along with excellent communication skills are highly regarded skills in this committee. This committee’s ability to collaborate with public land managers is crucial in attaining new motorized single track.

Membership Committee
Create and run events/activities to attract and retain members, maintain and manage membership benefits, ensure the integrity of the membership database, and more. Highly motivated people who like to “share the stoke” are key candidates for this committee. Be part of sharing NMA’s successes and help us grow!
