DNR MANAGED LANDS
The DNR purchased over 50,000 square acres in the Teanaway area from a private timber company in 2013. This is now state trust land. The area has been named Teanaway Community Forest (TCF).
Did you know that the DNR is obligated by Washington State law to provide multiple use of state land where it is in the best interest of the state and general welfare of the citizens thereof (RCW79.10.100)? Did you also know they have banned ORV trail riding at the TCF at this time?
